Make way for a decent life!

Asha spent a sleepless night that day.... The questions her children asked kept Asha awake ...

That day, when she was getting dressed after returning home from the office, her children asked those questions..

"Mom, you only wear a maxi dress when you're inside the house... When you go out, you wear dresses with holes in them so that your whole body is visible?"

An unexpected question... Asha's six-year-old son asked.

Asha didn't know what to answer...

"If I wear a maxi to the office, they wont let me in, Darling."

The next question came from Raja, the eldest son who was in the next room..

"Okay, why do you wear a dress with windows below the neck and on your back, leggings, lipstick.. when you go to the office? Did the office tell you to wear it like this?"

Why these sudden questions?... Asha was stunned..

"This is the custom of the town, Raja.. You shouldn't ask such questions"

"Okay, my friends called me to booze party  saying that it is the custom of the town, shall I go?"

Asha couldn't answer...

"Some girls in college wear sexy dresses to seduce boys.. Why do you want to wear such dresses?"

Asha remained speechless without answering again.

"Hey, what if our Sudha grows up a little tomorrow and dresses like you and someone takes her and rapes her? Leave alone her, are you safe? Tomorrow if some rogues attracted by kidnap you and rape?"

"Are you imagining something so bizarre? "That won't happen, darling" Asha tried to cool Raja...

Raja was fuming!

"Oh, are you still in this world? Don't you watch the news and TV? Don't you see what is happening in the city?"

These are the questions that are bubbling in the hearts of those who want to live a moral life, especially the youth. Like Asha, most women think that there is nothing wrong with the half-dressed clothes they wear, saying that it is the local custom. They think that even though the beauty of their bodies becomes a feast for the eagle eyes of strangers, it does not matter. Those who enjoy these scenes as a free of cost entertainment, do not open their mouth against this evil!

Some good people, knowing the truth that women's sexy dressing is an real evil, the chaos it causes in society and that those involved will be punished in the afterlife, also do not open their mouths about it. They do not condemn this vice, fearing what other people will think of them. In doing so, those who commit such vises feel that there is nothing wrong with their actions and

Such a social trend is dangerous.

Believers must take the field

Those who believe in God cannot help but love the country and its people! They cannot remain indifferent to the injustices and atrocities happening in the country. God has entrusted us with the responsibility of establishing righteousness on this earth, and we must have a sense of responsibility that we will be questioned by God in the Hereafter. That is a part of faith in God.

The religion of Islam is not just a name for prayers, meditation, charity, fasting and other rituals. Rather, we should cultivate goodness around us. We should also prevent evil from happening. Here is what God says about us through His final scripture

  • “You are the best community raised up for mankind; (because) you enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong; And you believe in Allah (firmly)..." (Quran 3:110)

(Allah means the One and Only God worthy of worship)

Furthermore, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

  • If any of you sees an evil, then let him prevent it with his hand. If he is unable to do so, then let him prevent it with his tongue. If he is unable to do so, then let him hate it with his heart. This is the lowest level of faith. (Book: Muslim)

Therefore, as for a believer, he is obliged to fight against evil in whatever way he can. Therefore, in the situation we are in today, we should directly prevent those evils that we can directly prevent with our hands. For example, when the evil of modesty penetrates into the circles under our authority, directly or through the media, we should try to prevent it through direct measures. In the circles not under our authority, we can fight against it by warning people about the dangers of this evil and the consequences of the Hereafter through the tongue or in writing.
